Hi! My name is Mandy and I'm so happy that you found me! I would love to talk with you. Well...better said...I would love to "listen" to you. I mean really listen to you. Sometimes I think what we really need is to truly feel heard. But truly hearing someone is not always easy. We have our own thoughts, feelings, and worries. And sometimes we have our own agenda, too. Truly listening to someone shows kindness, compassion, and ideally unconditional positive regard. We want to know that someone really cares about us and that we are not alone in the boat!

I have always been a people person, wanting to help others in any way that I could. I began my career as a teacher, a special educator. And then I realized that I had a slightly different calling and went back to school for my Masters in Counseling Psychology. I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. I love learning what makes people tick, what inspires them, and what excites them!

What else can I tell you about me? Well, I definitely march to the beat of my own drum...but would much prefer to dance instead. 😉 I am open-minded, playful, kind, compassionate and nurturing. I am a glass half full person and a total cheerleader! I will always be in your corner cheering you on! I will encourage you to do it...to go for it...whatever it might be! I will be there believing in you, even if you're struggling to believe in yourself!

And relationships take time to grow...they need to be tended to and nurtured. Trust is not something that is built overnight. It takes work and needs to be earned. So I am here to nurture you and nurture our relationship. I want to earn your trust. I want to hear about the big things in your world and the little ones too. We can go as deep as you want or we can keep it light and airy. I am a very good sounding board and happy to have you vent to me! I am here for YOU...listening, really listening!
