I'm so glad you're checking out my bio. I would love to be able to chat to you about anything and everything under the sun. I'm a good listener, and if I know anything at all about what you'd like to talk about, I enjoy holding up my end of the conversation. If I don't know anything about what you would like to talk about, I'm always happy to learn. And if you are a little shy about starting a conversation, I can definitely help out there, either by talking about topics of general interest or asking you gentle, easy-to-answer questions about yourself.

As we get to know each other, I look forward to hearing about the events--small and not so small--that happen in your life, and I know you'll appreciate having someone who cares about you and wants to hear about them. If you like, we can compare notes on matters we're both interested in, have check-ins with each other about our exercise and self-care programs, and more.

I've been told that I'm a warm and compassionate person. I'm also generally pretty cheerful, but there's no need for you to feel as though you need to be "on" with me all the time. I want you to feel comfortable enough to be your authentic self. If you're upset or worried about a particular issue, either in your professional or your personal life, I'm very happy to be a sounding board for you as you vent or talk out the problem. I'd be honoured to be able to listen and help you sort it through.

You also might like to talk to me about a secret or a particular subject you don't feel you can share with others. I'd be a great choice instead. I'm very open-minded, non-judgemental, and discreet, and I genuinely care about how you're feeling.

I'll tell you a bit about me so you know who you'll be talking to. I'm pretty much the girl next door. I grew up in small towns on the Canadian prairie and I have a strong appreciation for the beautiful countryside here. For me, a day out in the peace and quiet of the country is as good as a week's holiday. I'm an avid reader (mostly mysteries and some science fiction/fantasy, but other genres too). I'm a big music fan and love listening to blues especially, but also swing, New Orleans jazz, rockabilly, zydeco, top 40, and more. I enjoy reading cookbooks and trying out the new recipes I find. Finally, I'm a huge pet lover, so if you have pets too, let's swap stories.
